Mckenna's Story

This will be Mckenna Wucherer's senior season at BC. She is committed to play at Minnesota once she graduates, and she is a part of the USA U18 Youth National Team that will be representing team USA this fall. She is a 3 time Greater Metro conference Player of the Year and a 3 time 1st team all-state selection (soon to be 4 time).

She will leave BC as the most decorated girls volleyball player in program history.

What makes Mckenna's story even more special is her dedication to raising awareness and resources to find a cure for breast cancer. Mckenna's mom, Wendy, died from the disease in 2007 when Mckenna was 3 years old.

Each year, BC hosts a Dig Pink game, and we are asking you to make this year's event extra special! We'd love to see all Junior Lancer players in attendance at the Dig Pink Game against Brookfield East on October 5th. We hope that everyone will come to support Mckenna and the entire Wucherer family (including dad, Greg, Miranda (2018 BC graduate), and Abby (a 2020 BC graduate)).

Junior Lancer Volleyball, along with the returning BC Varsity Team, will be offering a Dig Pink Fundraiser Clinic on July 22nd at BC, with proceeds benefiting the Wucherer's chosen charity. Girls who register on time and attend the clinic will have a chance to brush up on their skills alongside varsity players AND will receive this year's Dig Pink t-shirt to proudly wear to the Dig Pink game on October 5th!!
